NPS Introduces the NP-1000 Smart System as a direct replacement for conventional 2V plants. Utilizing 48V strings of the NorthStar NSB170FT, NPS can now offer a light weight, easy to install solution to the 20yr valve regulated market.
Based on a 36" wide x 24" deep footprint, the NP-1000 automatically balances the float charging between individual strings thus extending the life of the battery. All strings remain fully charged and on line ensuring maximum reserve power during an outage.
Additional benefits include:
A 15% decrease in floor loading vs. typical 2V plants
Built in string redundancy as a result of (7) 48V stings wired in a series parallel connection
Hot swappable battery string makes 12V block replacement an ease in the case of a damaged cell
A two position buss bar allows for top or front termination points
Straight forward cabling schematic makes inter-cell connections a breeze.
